Hydrangea ???

My neighbor next door has what I think is some variety of a white Hydrangea. Anyway this spring I rooted two cuttings and both have done beautifully. Looking at photo #1 you can see the new plant about 12-inches tall. Looking at photo #2 you can see the blooms on plant #1. They first come out looking a light green color but later turn a beautiful white. Photo #3 is a detail image of the leaves on the plant.

I have two questions. First, is it a Hydrangea or something else? Secondly. The plants are now about 12 to 14 inches and growing well. Do I leave them in the pots and bring them thru the winter or should I now plant them into the ground?

Thank for your attention in this matter.
