Growing under Lights

thermometer question

I have my heat mat with termometer with lights on top.

I have the mat plugged into the termometer, but I was wondering if I could also plug in the lights to this using a power strip so I would know if I always had the same temps running in the propagation bed. I have a seperate digital termometer inside the box but thought I could hook it all together.

Any thoughts?

What are the lights connected to? A thermometer? A thermostat? Do you want the lights to turn off when it gets too warm?

Your lights should be connected to a timer. They should be on for the same time each day, probably 14-16 hours. If it is too warm you need to provide more ventilation, run a fan, etc.
