Iris Borer Eggs?

Does anyone have pictures of iris borer eggs?

I have had iris for a few years without a borer problem

I use merit in the spring and keep a close look out for them.

Recently I have noticed lots of small black eggs on the leaves, as many as 30 on one fan. About the size of a pin head.

From what I know borer scatter the eggs, one or two per fan.

I have some varities that have no eggs on them. Fans have lots of eggs or none.

They are hard and can not be crushed in your hand or with a finger nail.

There are way too many to remove by hand.

I plan on removing or burning the leave when they die in the fall

Thanks
