It seems awfully late for peas, even in Zone 5, but what do I know?

And yes, a picture would be good.

It's not too late in many places.

When I planted my peas on Easter Sunday, there was still snow on the garden bed closest to the house. Some self-seeded soup peas had come up before I planted, but those plants are the same size as the ones I planted now, so their head-start didn't really help them.

At the moment the Monk soup peas are blooming, but few pods have set. None of the eating peas (garden, snow, and snap) are blooming yet.

Night time temperatures are still in the 40s, highs in the 70s and occasional 80s, humidity is about 15%. I have plenty of pea season left here. ;-)
