I purchased these beans in 1990 from Hastings Seeds in Atlanta, GA. When given good soil and light, it is an extremely productive variety.

Thank you for the report and photo.

Selma Star is by far the smallest of my bean plants this year and it shows no interest in climbing. Perhaps it needs good soil, light and more heat than we can provide here in the PNW.
