I am an avid vegetable gardener. There is Nothing I enjoy more than sitting on my deck reading he NY Times on my ipad surrounded on by my flowers looking at my ever expanding veggie garden. Sunday I see a flash by the petunias..Could it be? The elusive hummingbird..I break out and thoroughly clean the old unsuccessful hb feeder. Mix up some 1 to 4 sugar water -fill er up and hang it by the back deck. Monday nothing. This evening around dusk I shout 'there she hovers' a hummingbird - Typical pandamonium the wife scrambles to find her glasses..the dog barks, the kids run around and the scare it off. A few minutes later i see another..with a slightly different color.

Ps I had some new potatoes with my "3 hour" pork chops that my wife harvested...awesome.
