no prob, but em, how do i do that?

For pics, get a free photobucket.com account and upload your pics according to their (easy) directions.

Then select the pic you want to post here. Run your mouse below the pics and several addresses pop up. Click on the HTML CODE.

Last, come over here to the message box and PASTE the HTML CODE in this message box. You won't be able to see the pic until you click on the PREVIEW button.

You can type before or after the pic, if you wish, and add more pics if you want.

Look forward to your pics.

Those are, indeed, lilies--and really gorgeous ones, at that!

I'm not expert on IDing lilies, but it looks rather like my orienpet called Honeymoon which was a glorious sight in my rose garden several weeks ago. I don't have a good picture of them, but maybe you can get an idea of it by looking at the pics on my lily thread (see link below)--5th and 6th pics--the very tall ones. Unfortunately, my Honeymoons were literally down to the very last bloom, but you can see how they tower over the other lilies in my garden.

If yours is not Honeymoon, I'd still say it might well be an orienpet (hybrid oriental/trumpet lily mixture).

Thank you for the link Kate and I am now almost sure that we both have the same plant (honeymoon),such a pity that you did not get your camera out sooner, my plants are now in final bloom and only one or two weeks left before i lose their glory and georgous scent, as I said earlier they seem to be very happy where they are and I seem to get more plants sprout each year so next year will hopefully be more of a joy, thank you for your kind comments too...John
