Hi Phyl:

You're not alone. Many gardeners have been disappointed with their lilies the first season after planting.

While they should be better next year, I get the feeling that whoever supplies them bulbs are sending poor rejects or bulbs that require another growing season to produce a decent size bulb that should produce at least 3-5+ flowers the first year.

Stick with the other bulb firms who consistently send out quality and mature stock!

Thanks for your input here Riz. I wish BuggyCrazy was still selling a lot of lily bulbs, but when I emailed her about it, she wrote me back that it basically wasn't cost effective, and that they would be concentrating on other kinds of bulbs. But I was also really impressed with all the other nurseries as well. Brent & Becky's haven't come up yet, but John Scheeper's have been terrific so far. :0) Phyl
