purple greenbean flowers?

When I planted my beans I planted blue lake bush beans, all from the same packet. I noticed one seed in the packet that had a pinkish color to it so I planted it seperate from the rest. All the regular seeds grew and produce white flowers but this 'special' seed I planted has purple flowers. Anyone know why that would be? All the blue lakes have been producing like mad already and the one with purple flowers is a little behind with only flowers to this point. It's a bush plant also.

A seed from another cultivar got mixed in somewhere along the line. If the vines also have a purple cast, it could be a purple pod cultivar like Royalty, but others have blossoms with various shades of purple.

Yes, probably as farmerdilla stated...I did royal burgandy beans and did wonderful with them, all had little purple flowers. I did have one regular green bean plant come up though....it had just got mixed in. You may enjoy your extra little variety a lot, my royal burgandy were a heavy producer!!
