Did your LOV come up green an bloom normally this season and last? They tend to die back after bloomning - and get particularly ratty if in a dry location. What you're seeing might be normal for the conditions you're growing them in.

Have no idea what Flo Guard is for, but once established, LOV shouldn't need any additional attention.
