I have stored it before in the freezer, tightly wrapped to keep it dry, and it seems to work just fine. I do this with my bread yeast as well, because I buy a giant bag really cheaply at the restaurant supply house (2 lbs costs about the same as a 3 pack strip at the grocery store), and it keeps for at least a couple of years this way with no major loss of leavening power.

Thanks dnninmi! I wasn't sure if I could store it, or if I should incorporate it into the soil or compost pile or what.....
However, due to bad bug year, I'm doing a lot of fall cultivation and no fall crops.
The freezer won't kill the beneficical organisms in it?
Best way to keep it dry?

I store inoculant at room temp. and have used up to three years in good condition.
