Help with Leaves!

My lucky bamboo has had a rough life so far but is still thriving- I'd just like to help it's appearance look like it hasn't endured freezing and hot, direct sunlight (both occurred at two different moving times - MN winter and AZ summer). Leaves look like crap but I don't know exactly what to do. Can anyone help?

It sounds like you have some dead leaves, and some that are still green. As long as you leave the good leaves, and the stems are ok, the plant should rebound. I've taken some dead leaves off my plants, and even trimmed some dry tips off good leaves, with just a pair of scissors.
