I have two types of Asiatic lilies and some Orientals that have done well over the past three years in a bedded area of there own I do intend to leave some there for 2010

I plan to either pot grow some of them em or ground grow them in a rose bed as complementary plantings.... Would it best to pot grow them or ground grow them in the same soil as a rose bed ?

I have the pots and I can make the soil for either one of the items

A second question is will lilies do well if I mixed them in with Bearded Iris, Tulips and or Daffodils Plan B in a sence

The roses take front seat in my gardens and they do require some extra garden duties Lilies get the second seat and an equal amount of attention as required others mentioned are just a things to me, but I do like to see em grow
