You'd enjoy my MG unit as it's much more into veggie gardening than "landscaping & flowers". Unfortunately it's not something I'm very interested in. I'm not much into landscaping and flowers either. Each MG unit has it's own flavor, you should be able to find like-minded gardeners in your local group. Call the Ext. Office, talk to the agent and ask to visit an MG meeting.
A side note: Actually, you sound like most Master Gardener's I've met over the last 10 years, really into veggie gardening.

Around here there are Community Gardens and Gardens For the Homeless where vegetables are grown and donated to people in need. They welcome volunteer workers and in return the volunteer is able to learn from those with lots of experience. For several years I was a volunteer with a Horticultural Research Foundation, staffed by retired nurserymen interested in finding new plants to get started in the nursery trade. Working for NOTHING with such knowledgeable professionals was the best learning experience ever. Al
