Would this paint color work in my dining room even though it gets minimal light?

One large bay window, but it is facing the back of the house, so natural light does not appear until late in the day. (Love Philadelphia Cream walls in your photo)

Is the window facing west? Direction will make a difference in what you choose for the room.

My choice for your room is Ben Moore veil cream PT-370. It is a pearly color, so it will be warm in the morning and hold its own when that west orangey sun swings around the house. And, it is a winner at night. I think you will like this.

If you are not sure about the pearl effect, my second choice would be Ben Moore's Spring Mint 2040-70. It changes color in as the light changes and gets deeper in the afternoon. Nice.

What would you call the color scheme ? Salmon and sage ? I have an area rug with similar colors and finding an upholstery for 2 accent club chairs in a sage or salmon /terra-cotta hue is daunting . The plaid is brilliant and I love whatever is enrobing the couch !!
