We are in the golden rennaisance of gardening but how long will it last? will there be a replacement generation of gardeners and will their numbers be as great as ours? To answer these questions one must think about what creates a gardener. Were you inspired by a fellow gardener ? a neighbor? or most likely, a parent or grandparent? Then consider whether or not you are doing your part to inspire the next generation of gardeners. It may be hard to drag children away from air-conditioning, TV and computer games but it is important that we instill in our youth a love of nature and a knowledge that there is peace and joy in gardening
