He's a hoot isn't he? But, he's a little behind the latest on SOD and shipments to MS. CA is shipping to MS just fine. I just got my shipment from Vintage Gardens two weeks ago with no issues whatsoever.

I see that Eddie in Ga has a tire planter. Felder showed us how to cut one to make a planter. I requested the instructions.

Heard him speak at a beautification seminar...very entertaining.

We have another very entertaining fella in our midst.
Went to a MG State Conference where Eddie_GA was the speaker.
Will never forget his presentation...and a nice person, too.

I first saw Felder Rushing about 4 years ago at Harris Co. MG doin's. He is so much fun!

I have lots of tires in my garden, and am in the process of painting a bunch more. I am doing a silly spot in the garden, as my husband calls it. They are easy to cut, there is a trick to turning them.

Thank you Wandaredhead for mentioning me along with Felder Rushing. He is a legend among speakers. What I do is similar to his program but of course I don't have his many years of experience - him being a county agent, having his own radio show and author of several books and all. I have on occasion called myself a poor mans version of Felder Rushing. By the way Wanda, I'll tell you what I tell every woman who thinks I'm a nice guy: You are perfectly safe with me as long as we are in public and the lights are on.

I saw him just today. He did a program for the MG's/Native Plant Society here in Midland TX.

I was looking forward to getting a signed copy of Passalong Plants but he was sold out.

He taught me (so I could teach DH), to make the tire flowerpots via email from the Garden Junk Forum about two years ago. Alas, I lost everything in the 'crash of the Win98'but I think I printed it out.

I saw him on Christopher Lowell making them, too. I am now the proud owner of 11 tire planters, three of which, DH's dad made many years ago.

I found out his wife is from here. Les Brake was at the program, here to visit his mother. Nice fellows, both.

I heard Felder Speak in Quincy Illinois several years ago, I really enjoyed him. I am wanting to contact him for a presentation to our MG group in AR. Can anyone give me a way to contact him?
