Go to Google.com search engine and type in Peragola. I think you need to put the "a" in your search word. Lesley

There are tons of links if you google it ("pergola" is correct) -- we've been thinking about constructing one on our patio so I've been looking, too. You might want something more substantial than bamboo but take a look and see what you like... you can get fancy but construction doesn't have to be difficult if you want to DIY, or there are kits available, too. Once we get a pergola built I'm going to grow a Japanese maple in a pot on the patio, along with the ones I'll be planting in our partly shady back yard.

Don't forget to look under google images for "pergola," too.

I did look in google for pergola and found many, but I am looking for a structure that is a little less formidable looking. I have a small backyard, and already it has 2 wood arbors that I built, and a mostly wood back porch. I wanted to build something out of bamboo, so that it will look a little different(may be like a Tiki hut, but without the thached roof).

On a related note, I am building a structure to protect 1 gallon or smaller maples, probably making a cube with PVC pipes.

I was wondering where do they sell the shade cloth that nursery use overhead. Can I find this at home depot or lowes?
