Does anyone watch 'Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe'? I remember reading a post about Cowpots quite a long time back and I think it was here on the MN forum. I looked them up online at the time and thought the concept was great but that they were a little pricey. I was watching TV today and there was a Dirty Jobs segment on Cowpots. Followed the process all the way from the cow to the pot, which takes about 32 days to process the product (mostly to remove the stink by pressing and composting) from the cow to the pot. In the process, the dairy farmer who came up with this idea uses byproducts to heat his home and barn and to fertilize his crops. Very cool.
