Maple Fungus

I have what I think is a silver maple. It developed brown spots on the leaves this year. Took some leaves to a nursery and they said it looked like a fungus that was caused by the really wet spring we had. Call a tree care place and they are coming out later in the week. Have any of you had this problem? Is it expensive to treat?

I had powdery mildew on some J.M. seedlings and after I sprayed them with a fungicide a few times, they seem to clear up but left some brown spots. We also had a very warm spring. Please let us know what you find out about your tree.

I had someone from a tree company out last Friday. The tree has a fungus but he said not to worry. It was caused by the wet cool spring we had and only 2% of the leaves are affected. He said it would take care of itself.
