cheapest potting soil?

For those in suburban MD: where can one find the cheapest source of potting soil? I have to pot up a bunch of plants for a plant sale, and see no reason to buy pricey potting soil. I don't have time/energy to make my own right now. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

It might be cheapest to buy one of those huge bales of peat and a bag of compost and mix them together. You may even be able to get compost for free from people local to you. If you don't know anyone with some, you could try asking on freecycle.
