I purchased 2 maples last year and planted them, up till about 1-2 month ago they were similar in appearance, but 1 has taken off while the other is looking wilted and off color. We have had a colder than normal June and it rained plenty. For the most part they should have had identical treatment. We did weed and feed the grass about a month or so ago, but they probably would have both gotten similar amounts of that.

Any thoughts?
