Starting a small backyard nursery

Hello, my mother and I are wanting to start a nursery in our backyard next year. We plan on getting the greenhouse up soon and we have started saving the black pots from the plants that we buy. I would like to know what would be the best (and most profitable) plants to start with? I would like to start the plants early (whichever ones I can start early) so that they would be ready to sell around planting time next year. Any tips on the essentials for starting a nursery of your own?(besides the plants)

This forum has lots of threads that can help you out. A backyard nursery takes lots of time and effort to succeed. First thing, is make sure you have all the legal angles figured out. Then figure out what is easy for you to grow.

What sort of plants will you be growing? Vegetables, annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc.?

What sells well in your region? What are you good at growing?

The types are the ones that YOU can grow well, don't try something that is hard for you in your area, especially the first years.
