Sorry for your loss. There is a post or two over in the tree forum with folks having similar damage.

Each time I look at the photos I have a different opinion. In some it looks like the top of the tree is torn up pretty bad.

The leader and a branch or two on either side are broke?

I dunno. How close to the house is it?

Given the branching structure of a very narrow "V" to begin with, the tree may have been doomed from the start. The middle would need to be removed leaving two leaning segments. I'd take it down before the next storm splits it in two.

I vote to take it down also. ASAP, like tj says.
It has no future, other than more breakage.

I say do some selective pruning and shaping. Let it grow this coming spring and as new growth comes out continue the reshaping process. This tree will put out new growth fast because of its mature root system. If you are willing to do shaping and pruning let it live.
