I have a triangle shaped corner lot. I do not want to put up a fence as this would have to sit very far back into my yard due to the local codes. So I want to plat a hedge. I am currently doing "drivebys". I wander around new and old neighborhoods trying to see what looks good and may give me inspiration.

Are you happy with one or have admired one from afar that may give me inspiration?

I am thinking of maybe alpine currant for a while with some mockoranges on the ends?

I want to keep it lower so I can still wave to the neghbors as they walk by but effective to give the kids a visual barrier (and the rolling ball a barrier too) from the street.
