I've been looking around for sales, specifically for perennials. Thus far, I've found 3 gallon healthy (w/ buds) Nelly Mosser and Fire clemantis and a hydrangea for $2! Tubs of angelina for $1. Hardy hibuscus for $2. Annuals for 25cents. All from my local Lowe's. Some half hardy perennnials for 50cents at Patuxuent. I just love this time of the year.

At what Lowe's did you find them? Did they have more (I would buy clematis)? In our Lowe's (Gaithersburg) they never mark down that much.

It was in Waldorf, MD. There was only about 10 yesterday minus 2. I keep going every few days to see what else they are marking down. The salesperson said that they need to clear their inventory to make way for the fall and Christmas related plants. I have my eye out for the roses.

Thank you, Tabassam. I am afraid that would be too far for me. I bought asiatic lilies and a couple of clematis at Frederick's Lowe's at 50 cents and 1 dollar, but our store, like I said, never mark down significantly. Congratulations on your purchases, that was a great price!
