It spreads with runners and makes a good ground cover. Just be aggressive removing it from unwanted areas and it will be fine. You have to teach this plant who's boss.

It can be very invasive, but is easy to pull up, even with the runners. Just keep and eye on it!

You could also replant in a pot sunk in the ground or put some edging around it to keep it in bounds.

Hey, why should the nurseries tell you something that may cause you to not spend money. Really, not what capitalism is about... LOL :-)

I have no idea why, but,I have lived in this house for 5 years, and when I first saw the Bishops weed I almost pulled it. Now 5 years later,it has never grown any larger or invaded any beds. I guess I have been lucky. I also have heavy clay soil maybe that is why.

Oh yeah! You all have made me very happy today! I really do like this stuff, and I would like it to spread some. I just don't want it bullying out the other plants. So good to know it takes to discipline!

As for the nurseries, I know, I do know that they just want me to spend money. But what annoys me is that this nursery knows me VERY well. They KNOW I will be spending more money - lots more -there. Couldn't they maybe just drop a hint now and then that "this plant is fairly aggressive" or "Jack Frost really isn't that hardy here"? Or maybe they just don't know.
