I have quite a few irises. We have had way too much rain this year and now the rhizomes are beginning to rot. My question is: Do I dig them up now, clean them and then replant in the fall? Also, do I cut the leaves back while drying them out? I don't want to lose them, as some of them are from a family farm(dating back to the late 1800s)that my family members and I have kept going.
