Thanks Paul and Linda :-) I think I'll take a stake and flag out there and mark the spot. I imagine where there's one, there are others, but that way I'll know where to look. And if I can't find any in the spring, I'll give you that holler Linda!

Not buckthorn, as it would be the last plant to turn fall color, if it turns at all. Looks to be something in the dogwood family, but not sure.

On that note, if you want buckthorn I have tons to spare- sigh...

Good to see some of you are still here. I think JIP is protected, is it not? I'm not sure why, it has invaded one of my gardens and it seems to want to take over.
