thinking about a swap late May-early June

last year there was an excellent swap in New Brunswick thanks to Ellenh, in July.

Would people be interested in a swap in Montgomery Twp (south Somerset county), or vicinity? I was thinking May or early June because everything is up that's coming up; nothing is too pot-bound yet and transplanting is easier.

I guess we should probably continue discussion on the exchange page so I will open a thread there but I wanted to get people's attention here first.

Hi Lisa,

Count me in! Last year was so much fun. I'd love it if we could do one every year. Just don't make it the weekend of May 21th. I'll be going to a swap in Arkansas. Where were you planning on holding it?

well, rats, Ellen, the 21 was my top choice, because I have to leave out Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekends. June 4 is a possibility. I was planning for a local park.

Are you going to Arkansas in order to swap or are you there anyway and taking the opportunity.

I'm going just for the swap It's going to be a three day affair - lots of fun. An old member of GardenWeb - GardenGhost (Casper) is hosting it. We've become good friends & I really don't want to miss it. I have a number of other friends from across the country that are also coming. You're welcome to come if you feel like travelling.

I expect to come home with some great stuff and have a great time with my friends. Yes it's a long way to go, but I'm really looking forward to it.
