There is a ton of it growing at the Stony Brook Watershed outside of Pennington - I don't know if they ever have plant sales but you could collect seeds.

Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, PA sells wildflower seeds. I don't know when their next plant sale is.

I have some which flowered this year and I could send you seeds when they are ripe. The plants are about two feet tall, a good deal shorter than the ones at the Watershed and the seed came from Maryland originally.

P. smallii died here after going strong three years :( but P. 'Pikes Peak Purple' FINALLY bloomed after skulking for the same time. I'm guessing it will not make it through the winter, having bloomed. Very pretty while it lasts.

This is the 3rd year of bloom for Penstemon "Huskers Red" in my garden - very easy care. There are several species of penstemon that are native to the US.
