Free photo program needed

Lykaon - Ohio Zone 6a

I have a bunch of photos from a recent trip to Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC that I'd love to share here (theres a huge atlas cedar that I'm sure Ken's going to love). The problem is that they are huge files (5MB each). I'd like to quickly convert them to smaller size files between 100 & 200k or whatever is suitable for the web.

Any programs that can convert a batch of photos quickly?

I assume you've tried Photobucket? Not sure how quickly they can do alot of photos, though!

Just recently downloaded this powertoy from windows. I really like it. Very simple and doesn't clutter up my computer. It's a neat tool to have on hand for lots of different applications. Might be what you are looking for. If so, here is a link. Hope it works. (-:
