Hi all,

I'm not even sure that's exactly who I need, but:

Our 3,000 sq. ft backyard has extensive mole damage. We bought the place 2 years ago and it had been a rental for 5 years before that. In the two years we've been there the ground has settled up and over the network of mole tunnels that has accumulated over the years and it's now a bit of a concern to let my son even play out there- there is a multitude of potholes and higher packed dirt mounds that need to be leveled out.

We've considered renting some equipment and doing it ourselves, but not sure how to avoid damaging any existing root systems of the mature small trees that were there etc. as it would probably be a good idea to rototil to break up the tunnels et all.

We have considered adding dirt on the low areas, but that doesn't address the "holes" below the hard packed ground and the high areas on the lay of the land.

Does anyone have someone they can recomend to help us with this job? Whether it's just advice or to do the whole thing?

We don't have a lot of $$, but don't want to get in over our heads by trying to do it ourselves and not knowing what all to do. Not to mention we have a 1 year old Golden Retriever who needs the yard too ;-)
