Isn't it fabulous? I have to credit the homeowner with having this idea. The fixture was custom made, but truly it iwas relatively simple to construct. The electrician had it fabricated with standard fixture parts, down light fixtures embedded into the bottom of the surfboard, and the whole assembly hung from a stem and canopy through which the wiring is fed. Because you don't see the top of the board, the wiring was just run on top.Any clever electrician with access to a wood shop could duplicate this piece. I hope that helps!!
