Was looking at a pretty big T & M display at a local independent garden center just yesterday. They had Burpee, too. I'd expect most of the full-sized stores would be stocking multiple seed lines, as this place was. Guess the thing to do is make some phone calls, starting nearby and working out until you score.

I have definately seen them at Molbak's Patrick, and also I believe at Bainbridge Gardens. You might check Ravenna Gardens and other smaller, botique-type nurseries closer to you.
I'm a big T&M hater though; wouldn't expect to get viable seed if I were you. Check them out on the Garden Watchdog.

Well, I went out there today for a break and as it turns out they aren't offering T & M seeds this year. I was directed to the rack of another company, new this year (for Molbak's) that had a lot of similar novelties.

While there I was also informed that Territorial had pulled over 200 kinds from their wholesale availability and was offering them retail only, via their own web site.

Thanks bboy & Tom. I may take a run up to Sky's & check out what they have...or I may just resist this year. I probably have plenty of seeds to work with & don't need to be spending on more. Tom, thanks for the heads up on the T & M viability issue!

Maybe Molbak's was getting complaints about T & M. I suppose it might actually be possible to call one or more of these places at a slow time and get someone to tell you if a particular seed is in stock. If you decide to go out to Molbak's also and see what they have (you could make a loop down 405, hit Wells-Medina as well) be sure to look for the nesting hummingbirds out in the building with the camellias. The have barricades and signs set up, so you should be able to find the spot. It's pretty cute.

T&M went on my blacklist 20 years ago, for two reasons: first, their seed of unusual items was almost always dead; and second, I sold them some seed wholesale, and they took so long to pay that I had to contact the British Consulate. Now I don't care if they have the best seed on earth; they won't be getting my money.

Wow Lilydude, that's a good reason. For an impressive hodgepodge of unusual offerings, I've been a fan of Chiltern Seeds for a long time - although they're getting pricier. Certain things have failed to germinate for me sometimes but overall I'd say their quality is acceptable.
