Just curious to see if anyone else knows or remembers the correct way this "Old Wive's Tale" goes:

If the squirrels build their nests high in the trees the winter is going to be really bad.

OR:

If the squirrels build their nests high in the trees the winter is going to be mild.

I heard this a long time ago and can't remember which it is!

I've noticed that all the squirrels nests around the Dayton area are in the tip top of the trees this year....the first time in several years I've seen them so high. I wonder what we're in for!!!

Anyone?
