Blue atlas cedar?

Moonglow or Wichita juniper don't seem to grow 3 feet per year, but are similar color - not as open as the B. a. cedar.

No way Colorado blue spruce will grow 3 feet per year. They are okay, but I've never really wanted one. I'd take a Blue Ice A. cypress over the spruce anyday - and I did.

thanks mdvaden--it is certainly not an atlas cedar--I just looked that up. It might be a Blue Ice, the needles look more like that anyway, but my daughter's tree seems more graceful. I have googeled through so many sites and looked at so many trees, my head is spinning.
I need an evergreen that grows fast, does not get too big (hight and spread) to screen out some ugly housing development on the hill behind the golf course (there are a number of green cedars, etc. on the course), preferrably bluish/grey because it goes behind my red maple and would look nice in front of the various greens, I think.
Any suggestions?

I have two Colorado Blue Spruce trees in containers if you're interested. I got them to put out with our evergreen trees for color but my husband doesn't like them. He hates the blue color. I got them last fall, and they've already grown and they are definitely blue!

Oregon Blue Cypress grows fast.Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Oregon Blue'. Spelling might be wrong. Not as grey as Blue Ice.

How about Concolor Fir? I've got one that is 18 years old, and is about 30 feet tall. I have not sheared it at all. Foliage is much softer and nicer than Blue Spruce.

Thank you pacnwgrdngirl for the offer of two colorado blue spruce trees--they are too dense and will outgrow the spot too quickly, otherwise I'd love to have them; I find them beautiful. Happy gardening!
