Get out the hoops & plastic!

Ours will plant out closer to June--only 3" tall now.

Am I the only one who finds these Miracle Grow "first bite" ads that this site keeps feeding us hilariously out of place for the PNW?

I don't see these ads.

I use Firefox with the Ad Block Plus add on.

Put my tomatoes (all 6, sigh) out under the hoop house this past weekend. Sounds crazy, but the plants do grow really fast under some tight (but lightly ventilated) plastic with a bit of sunshine to warm the ground up. I used to put them out even earlier, but sometimes the weather was still chilly when the plastic was removed, so I'm trying about 2 weeks later this year.

Reasonable weather and fast indoor growth threatens to find our plants out in the ground soon.

Go to "tools" click, and and scroll down to pop-up blocker. Usually works great for me. Good Luck!
