Great pictures, Dotty! I especially enjoyed the blue of the iris with the reddish pink lupines.

We are in the Fraser Valley and confess to some envy for what look to be Gary Oaks (the branches above one of the rhodies?) and also a garden on the waterfront. Are you on saltwater or a lake?

We are on a small lake and the Gary Oak you see is very large. We have a number on the property although one of them is failing. It's interesting taking the camera out -- the viewfinder gives a whole different perspective to the garden, likely because you can focus on one pretty subject.
Despite the cold, rainly spring, we really live in God's country.

Thanks Novita. This weather has certainly been a challenge to stay ahead of the weeds! Let's hope the sunshine stays around this time. I tried to cover the peach tree but the gale winds we have had this springtime trashed the cover and knocked the blossoms off the tree -- it's really ugly.
