I volunteered Saturday morning from 10-2 at the information booth there. The weather was great, but by 2 I was hot and tired, and missed the talks I was interested in. The pruning of Japanese maples was what I wanted to hear.

I loved the big floating glass balls in the duck pond.

I really like the show for the plant vendors, the spectacular setting, and now the variety of speakers.

What attendees commented on most to me was where was Ciscoe, (doing a radio show and then a talk) and the location of other speakers.

The old groundskeeper's house was open for tours and there was a raffle to raise funds to restore the gardens to what they looked like early in the park's history.

People seems pretty happy there. Only complaint I heard was there wasn't a place that served fast food like hot dogs.
