Aesculus parviflora

I'm getting around to replacing my nearly dead Fargesia nitida with something different. I've been considering Aesculus parviflora (bottlebrush buckeye), and wondering if anyone has experience growing it. The spot I have is in light shade in fairly moist soil. How fast does it grow? Is it late to leaf out?

Also, I've just begun to call around to see if anyone has it locally. If anyone has seen it for sale, or has recommendations of best bets to find it in the greater Seattle area, I'd appreciate the input.

Was at Wells-Medina a few years ago, not sure they have any now. Suckers to form a fairly broad specimen, plus the way it looks would also call for it needing plenty of room, without other plants crowding it or coming up through it.

I see forestfarm has some 5 gallon if you don't find any closer. (Googling aesculus parviflora price brings up lots of hits, even ebay).
