The blooms are not particularly showy. Go on enjoying it's elegant shape and subtle fall color. Flowers are icing.

Yes....it is lovely without the blossoms and I would not be disappointed with it just as is. But I am curious about what the usual developmental history is. I can't find any references which indicate the average age or size for first flowering. Any personal experiences would be appreciated. jwww
