Saskatoon bushes in Calgary

20 years ago

I have several Saskatoon bushes growing on the edge of my property .I would like to know if pruned would these make a decent hedge ? I have in mind about an 8 foot high and maybe 6 feet wide hedge .I have not heard of anyone doing this before. The birds love the fruit and I intend to plant more if I can make a hedge of them.
