Hi there!

I'm new to the site, and I'm very eager to learn from all the experts here. My current curiosity lies in finding tumbleweeds in the Washington/Oregon area. I know they're a nuisance to many, but I'd love to have some small ones as part of my wedding floral arrangements (for summer 2009). I live in Portland, but would be happy to travel anywhere in the region for a good adventure.

I'm also hoping to find some good places to pick flowers suitable for drying (bachelor's buttons, strawflowers etc.) So any tips on that would be great help as well.
