Too funny! I love cats and gardening but this is a new one. We had a cat who ate socks--but only clean ones, fresh from the dryer. We had to rush the laundry basket upstairs and put the socks in drawers before he could get to them. But somehow we all had socks with holes eaten out of them. Never could figure out what that was about.

I heard the story this morning at the feed store. News gets around quickly. What a hoot.

Hey! One of my cats is a glove snatcher...only she steals the 100% cashmere variety (my preferred winter hand garment). She's already ruined two pairs and I have to lock them in a drawer to keep her away. She will steal them from my purse or from a jacket pocket...she'll even sneak into a half-open drawer to get them! Expensive taste.

I think I'll introduce her to my stash of gardening gloves instead.

Thanks for the laugh!
Patty

AHA! well that explains years and years of missing gloves there must be a whole gang of kitty thieves up and down the Eastern seaboard LOL

I have lost several gloves overnight after laying them out to dry. That cat next door is going to get a harsh questioning in my basement. I have a chair with straps and a hanging ceiling light already set up.
