Ang leonis, spike or new growth?

Not the greatest pic. This has been growing slooowly. At first I thought it was a spike, but perhaps that's just wishful thinking. Any thoughts?

No problem! I wish we could delete our own posts when necessary. The growth is now starting to take on a fan shape with tiny leaves starting. A grower on another forum sent me a pic showing a developing spike. So, I must have more patience!
