Mock Orange won't flower (much)

I have 3 Philadelphus lewisii in different beds. All of them grow ( as in height and leafing) quite well. I've had them over 4 years. Yet none of them flower more than one or two blossoms a year. What am I doing wrong? What could I do right?

    Functionally sterile mockoranges are one of those occurrences like huge-but-still-not-blooming wisterias that may generate multiple internet queries at times. I became a member of the club when I planted a garden cultivar of mockorange on Camano Island that may never have flowered. I will probably remove and discard it within a few years.

    If you have a back forty you can consign yours to this winter that might be a good plan. Someplace where if they never start blooming well it won't matter. And if they do start to bloom, added bonus.
