I had a huge yucca (about 8') I cut down and I expected new shoots to come up, but another plant has also been growing in it's place. I'm not sure what it is and don't want to kill it if it's not a weed. When I ask most people what it is they say it's a blackberry, but there's no thorns and the leaves are really soft. I have photos I can email you to look at.

Description: Right now it's about three feet tall and two feet wide. The leaves are broad, alternate, simple, toothed, and not lobed. Hope this helps.
