Beautiful specimen! How old is this beauty? ( I am not trying to guess your age David, lol)I usually get about 15 spikes on my plant in a 4 inch pot. Dunno why- may be unseasonal rain in Jan- I have about 2 -3 spikes this year.

This plant I have had it about 6 years. It could be about 7 years old. I know if you don't give it the dry, cooler and bright light winter rest, it will not bloom.

I'm a little older than the plant!

Oh My! That is too beautiful for words. David you are in Georgia. How did you cool it down and for how long?

Parts of my greenhouse I let get to about 50 deg. I hang the cool winter rest ones in this area. I also do not water this one until I see bloom spikes emerge. It also gets bright light.
