Hmmm. The cukes are certainly "decorative." That said, I haven't seen that before.

But the lines on the peppers are normal.

Thanks for the response. I haven't seen this before either. I almost think that the marks are "stretch marks" as if they have grown at different speeds this past lousy summer. It isn't insect dammage and the cukes taste just fine. A mystery.

We have grown jalapino peppers for years. Ours have always had those marks on them. Don't hurt them one bit.
